The closest attraction is the impressive Basilica Cistern, which is accessible in a couple of minutes. Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque are both about 5 minutes walk, as is the Hippodrome and the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Art. Only slightly further away is the entrance to Topkapi Palace. About a ten minute walk brings you to the Grand Bazaar, and with the tram stop being just 50 metres from this Istanbul hotel, the rest of the historic and indeed the new city is all within easy reach.
