It is within a couple of minutes walk of both the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya, and another 5 minutes brings you to Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, the Hippodrome, the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum and the tram stop. By using the tram, the Grand Bazaar and, in the other direction, the ferry terminal, are a short journey away or alternatively a 15 to 20 minute walk. When using public transport, Taksim and Istiklal Avenue are easily reachable. Just across the street from this Istanbul hotel are the ruins of the Magnaura Byzantine palace which is is in the process of being restored.
