Review Istanbul Hotels
Cool Pool, Chic Location
If you don’t pay attention to where you are, you can easily miss the Sofa Hotel & Residence in the Nisantasi district of Istanbul. This really nice establishment blends in with the many buildings around it, so you if you are driving through the city on your own you have to make sure you watch out for it. Plus, this Istanbul hotel is located in the chic area of the city, where the nightlife is hopping and there are plenty of modern things to do. If you want to visit an area of the city that is not chock full of historical sites, the Nisantasi district is where you want to be. Being close to the boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars is one of the reasons I chose to stay at this Istanbul hotel.
The hotel has 82 standard rooms and 17 Executive Suites. I stayed in one of the suites that had a living room, desk, TV and DVD player and kitchenette. Since I was visiting some friends here in the city, the suite allowed me to entertain them after enjoying dinner in the city. The room also had internet access, CD player, safe, and other amenities that you’d expect from such a classy place.
This Istanbul hotel also offers its guests the Longtable Restaurant and Bar, the Cafe Sofa which serves all three meals, a wellness centre with massages, steam baths, and cardio centre, and a really unique indoor swimming pool. The pool is great for unwinding as is the sauna, and if you are interested in a chic, personable place to stay while in the city, then this Istanbul hotel is the right one for you, especially if you want to stay someplace close to the fantastic nightlife.
