Review Istanbul Hotels
Sweet Accommodations Near The Grand Bazaar
Many people stop in the Old City of Istanbul in order to experience the Grand Bazaar and the nearby Egyptian Bazaar (or the Spice Bazaar as it’s also known). While it was not the only reason my fiancée and I were in Istanbul, it was a big one as we had heard that you could purchase just about anything there and we were looking for small wedding tokens for our friends and family. The Hotel Niles Istanbul is where we stayed and we really enjoyed this Istanbul hotel, the accommodations, and the friendly staff that run it.
When you first approach the Niles Hotel Istanbul, you think that it could be an apartment building with its olive green exterior. Once inside, however, you find yourself in a very bright and airy establishment where all the personnel speak English. There are 29 rooms here each with their own bathrooms, and they come in single or double. All you have to do is tell the staff how you want it and they’ll arrange the bed. You can also get extra beds and cots in the room for an additional fee if you need them. The rooms have AC, television, a fridge, safe box, toiletries, and wireless internet.
Between 8:30am and 10:30am the breakfast buffet is served in the Terrace Café and it is part of your rate package when you stay at this Istanbul hotel. The views from the terrace are great and there is an enclosed area so that you can still sit and enjoy the view even when it’s raining. If you want something more substantial for dinner than café fare, however, you will have to go out. It’s really a nice and affordable place and I think it’s probably more suited to couples and singles than family travellers.
