Review Istanbul Hotels
Quaint And Charming Turkish Establishment
The Cihangir Hotel is one of the nicest Istanbul hotels I have ever stayed at. I’ve been to the city about five times and this was the first time I ever stayed someplace other than in Taksim or the Old City. The views of the Bosphorus from this very quaint establishment are just killer and my room had a balcony view of it that I snapped picture after picture of. The way it looks at night is totally to die for. I never get tired of visiting Istanbul.
As a twenty-seven year old college student I take every chance I can to visit different places. This particular Istanbul hotel offers its guests TV, AC, hair dryers, free wireless internet – I maxed out my parent’s e-mail with pictures – and a mini bar. Plus it’s not far from Taksim Square where you can catch all of the city’s nightlife in its full glory. That’s really helpful too if you want to do more than just be in your hotel room as this Istanbul hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool or Turkish bath.
There is a restaurant here that serves some really great food and kick butt Turkish breakfast. The Kupeste Bar is also located here if you don’t want to stray from the Istanbul hotel, and occasionally they have a live band. The local talent is really quite good as I got to listen to one of the bands on this last visit. With local transportation available at just about any time of day and the ability to walk around Istanbul to get where you’re going, it’s a great city to visit and this quaint and charming hotel is perfect to stay at.
