Review Istanbul Hotels
Perfect For The Kids
When my wife and I started looking into hotels in Istanbul, Turkey, that would be great to take a couple of young children, we had no idea that we’d ever find the Cartoon Hotel located on Taksim Square. The Cartoon Hotel is a hidden treasure and this Istanbul hotel has plenty of Disney characters running around. Twice my kids thanked us for taking them to Disney World. As a sales manager for a major paint retail chain, getting away for a family vacation was really needed and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay.
This Istanbul hotel is located right in the middle of Istanbul’s business and entertainment district. The Old City is really close by too, making it a nice place to enjoy after a day of touring the sites. One thing my wife and I really liked about the Cartoon Hotel is that it was close to the metro station. Our children enjoyed riding the metro to and from the hotel as much as they did visiting with the Disney characters.
The Hotel has a nice restaurant, called the Moon Restaurant, on the roof with some great views of the city. Each of the rooms has satellite televisions and mini bars with shower and baths, and there is also a laundry service available on site. It’s really not overdone, which is nice, and it’s a fun place to bring kids. Yes, there are other Istanbul hotels with more amenities available, like swimming pools and saunas, but we really didn’t miss it. The kids had too much fun searching out their Disney friends.
